Becoming a Member of the Little Miami River Partnership

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Little Miami River Partnership. The previous year, 2005, has seen some exciting and rapid changes for our organization. From our 3rd Annual Water Quality Symposium to finishing the Todd’s Fork Watershed Action Plan, the Partnership has covered numerous community-based water quality issues this past year (See LMRP’s 2005 Annual Report for more details). And 2006 looks to be no different. In fact, we see in this year an active schedule of developing and implementing community and science based watershed plans throughout the Little Miami Watershed.

What do you get for being a Member of the Little Miami River Partnership? First, and foremost, you are helping us address the water quality and environmental issues of the communities within the Little Miami Watershed. Second, you are a voting member of the Little Miami River Partnership – and can vote for who will be on our Board and on our By-Laws thereby deciding the policies and future direction of our organization. Third, you will receive four quarterly newsletters and our Annual Report detailing the environmental efforts, programs, and projects that are occurring in the Little Miami River Watershed.

How much does a membership cost? Our organization accomplishes a tremendous amount with your support – but we keep our membership costs low to encourage participation. For an individual or student the cost is $25.00, for a government or non-profit group it is $50.00, and for a business or corporation the cost is only $75.00.

In addition, donations allow LMRP to undertake even more educational, water quality, and environmental implementing and planning. Help from our last years Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medal Stewards enabled us to hold multiple public educational meetings, symposiums, trainings, and conduct successful community based planning and implementation. Please, consider donating to help the Little Miami River!
